Re = O !       Chitta = mind.      Chintay = think about.    Chiram = long time, always.     Charanou = feet.   Muraarai =  Mura + ari.    Mura = name of a demon.  Ari = enemy.   Muraari = Lord Vishnu     Paarm = across.      Gamishyati = will be able to go.    Bhavaan =  you     Bhava = the world.    Saagarasya = of the ocean.   Bhavasaagar = The hardships of living in this World are compared to an ocean, which one has to fathom only through the grace of God.      Putrah = son.
Kalatra = wife.   Mitare = friends.  Sahayaah =  helpers.  Suhrudah = kind hearted. Sarvam = all      Vilokay = see,  treat.    Sakhe = O ! friend.   Mrugatrushnikeva = Mrugatrushnaa + iva.
Mrugatrushnaa = mirage (deceptive images seen in a desert e.g. a lake full of water).       Iva = like.

i.e.        O mind !  always think about (pray) Lord Vishnu, because you will be able to cross the ocean of miseries of this World by doing so. O friend ! you will find that your son, wife, friends and well wishers will not be of any help to you , and will be just like a mirage in a desert.
