To day's Subhashit.

विहाय  पौरुषं  यो  हि  दैवमेवाSवलम्बते  |
प्रासाद सिंहवत्तस्य मूर्ध्नि तिष्ठन्ति वायसाः ||

Vihaay paurusham yo hi daivamevaavalambate.
Praasaad  singhavattasya moordhni tishthanti vaayasaah.

Vihaay = leaving aside, not relying upon.    Paurush = one's own strength and courage.
Yo = whosoever     Daivamevaavalambate = Daivam + iva + avalambate,      Daiva - destiny, fate.
Iva = rather than (for comparison)    Avalambate = depends upon, chooses.
Praasaad = a large mansion.  Singhwattasya = Singhwat +tasya.     Singhwat = like a Lion.
Tasya = its, his/her.     Moordhni = head,      Tishthanti = perch on, stay.     Vaayasaah = crows.

i.e.          Whosoever, instead of relying upon his own strength ,efforts and courage for accomplishing a task depends  more on   his destiny , is like the statue of a lion at the entrance of a large mansion (as a showpiece) over whose head crows perch .

(Through this Subhashit the author has emphasised the importance of entrepreneurship and hard work echoing the sentiment that God also helps those persons who help themself., by comparing an inactive person to a statue of a lion, whom no body fears.)
