Today's Subhashita.

Ek varnam yathaa dugdham bahuvarnaasu dhenushu.
Tathaa dharmasya vaichitrye tatvamekam param punh.

Eka = one, same.    Varna = colour, nature.   Yathaa = because, for instance.   Dugdham = milk.
Bahuvarnaasu = Bahu =varnaasu.     Bahu = many.     Varnasu = colour, types.    Dhenushu = cows.
Tathaa = so also.    Dharmasya = Religion's.     Vaichitrye = varieties, diversity.   Tatvamekam = Tatvam +
+ ekam.      Tatva = reality, truth.     Ekam = one , the same.    Param = absolute.    Punah = again.

i.e.       Although cows are of different breeds and colours, the milk they produce is of the same color and
nature. Similarly there are Various religions following different religious practises, but the essence of all  these Religions is the same like the cows' milk.

(In this Subhashita by using the simile of cows and their milk for  various Religions and their religious practises, the author has emphasised the futility of the rift  and enmity between the practitioners of various Religions.)
