Today's Subhashita.

अतिथिर्बालकश्चैव  राजा  भार्या   तथैव   च |
अस्ति नास्ति न जानन्ति देये देहि पुनः पुनः ||

अर्थ -        किसी व्यक्ति के घर में आये हुए अतिथि ,  बालक ,उसकी पत्नी और  राजा (शासक), ये सभी  इस बात से अनभिज्ञ होते हैं  कि उनकी आवश्यकताओं को पूर्ण करने की  उसमें  सामर्थ्य है भी या नहीं, और एक बार उनकी  इच्छापूर्ति हो जाने पर भी वे  पुनः पुनः अपनी मांग प्रस्तुत करते रहते हैं  |

 Atithirbaalakashchaiva raajaa bhaaryaa tathaiva cha.
Asti naasti na jaananti deye dehi punah punah.

Atithirbaaalakashchaiva = atithih +baalakah +chaiva.      Atithi = guest.     Baalakah = a child/
Chaiva = as also.   Raajaa =  King.      Bhaaryaa = wife.     Tathaiva =  similarly      Cha = and.  
Asti = is there.      Naasti = not there, non-existent      Na = not.     Jaananti =  know.
Deye= on being given , provided               Dehi = give.     Punah punah = again and again.

i.e.           A person's guests, his wife and children, and the King (ruler of the State),  all these are unaware and unconcerned   about his capacity to meet their demands, and even if he meets their demand once , they ask him again and again to fulfil their demands.
