आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

माता मित्रं पिता चेति स्वभावात् त्रतयं हितम्  |
कार्यकारणतश्चान्ये   भवन्ति   हितबुद्धयः     ||

भावार्थ =   किसी व्यक्ति के माता, पिता  और मित्र , ये तीनों
स्वाभाविक रूप से उसका हितसाधन करने को सदा तत्पर रहते
हैं |  परन्तु  अन्य  लोग ऐसा तभी  करते हैं जब कि ऐसा करना
उनका कर्तव्य होता है |

Mataa mitram pita cheti svabhaavaaat tratayam hitam,
Kaaryakaaranatashchaanye bhavanti hitabuddhaya ah.

Maata = mother.   Mitram = friend.   Pitaa = father.
Cheti = attentive     Svabhaavatah = by nature.   Traatyam =
these three.   Hitam =  beneficial.    Kaaryakaaranatah +cha+
anye.   Kaaryakaaranatah = doing one's own duty.  Cha =and
Anye = others.    Bhavanti = become.   Hitabuddhayah =
friendly minded.

i,e,     It is a part of the nature of these three persons, namely father,
mother and a friend of a person to always remain attentive to  take
care of his interests,  but other people do this only when it is a part
of their duty .
