To day's Subhashit

अश्वस्य भूषणं वेगो मत्तं स्याद् गजभूषणं
चातुर्यम्  भूषणं नार्या उद्योगो नर भूषणं .

ashwasya bhooshanam vego mattam syaad gajabhushanam
chaaturyam bhushanam naaryaa udyogo nara bhushanam

i.e     Speed is the special attribute of a horse, so is the majestic gait of an elephant, expertness  in women folk, and entrepreneurship and industriousness among men folk.

Ashwa = horse.      Bhooshanm = ornament,  special attribute by which a person or a thing is appreciated.            Mattam = leisurely gait (way of walking).      Syaad = is
Chaaturyam =  expertness, cleverness .        Naaryaa= women folk.
Udyoga = entrepreneurship, industriousness.  Nara = men folk.

(unless the qualities mentioned above ( like ornamentation which enhances the beauty and utility of an object) are not found among, horses, elephants, women and men, they are not appreciated or revered)
