To day's Subhashit.

पठतो नास्ति मूर्खत्वम् जपतो नास्ति पातकं
मौनिनः कलहो नास्ति न भयं चास्ति जाग्रतः

Pathato naasti moorkhatwam japato naasti paatakam
Mauninah kalaho naasti na bhayam chaasti jaagratah.

i.e.    Those who are studious are never foolish and those who are religious never commit sins.Similarly , those who keep mum (do not speak unnecessarily) are not involved in quarrels, and those who always remain alert are never afraid of any danger.

Pathato = involved in acquiring learning,  studious.        Moorkhatwam = foolishness
Japato = chanting silently God Almighty's or any of His incarnation's names by using a rosary (a string of beads used in saying prayers) implying religiousness.
Pastakam = sins, wrong deeds proscribed (outlawed) by Religion.
Manauninh = A persons who he keeps silence or does not indulge in loose talks.
Kalaha =  strife, disputes,quarrel            Na+Asti = Naasti =does not have (exist)
Bhayam = fear, being afraid of any thing.         Jaagratah = awake, always remaining alert. .
