To day's Subhashit.

पापं कर्तुमृणं  कर्तुं मन्यन्ते मानवाः सुखं  |
परिणामोSतिगहनो  महतामपि नाशकृत  |

Paapm kartumrunam kartum manyante maanavaah sukam.
Parinaamotigahano mahataamapi naashkruta.

Paapm =  sins.      Kartumrunm =  kartum +Rinam       Kartum = doing, commiting.
Rinum =debt, loan.      manyante = imagine, suppose.   Maanavaah = people, persons.
Sukham = happiness, pleasure.       Parinaamotigahano =  parinaam + ati + gahano.
Parinaam  = result, effect.        ati =  exceedingly,  too much.    Gahano = causing distress.
Mahataamapi = Mahataam + api.      Mahataam = great and virtuous persons.
Api = even , too       Naash = destruction,      Nashkruta = ruined, results in destruction,

i.e.     While committing sins  and  borrowing  money from a money lender people feel happy.  But its ultimate result is very distressing and even great and virtuous persons get ruined by doing so,

(Through this Subhashit the author warns against doing sinful deeds and borrowing money, which ultimately result in destruction of the person concerned, particularly in the case of sinful deeds.)
