Tishthaadhastaadhastaadanyoparitishthataa =|tishthata +aadhasta +anyen + upari +tishtitaa.
Tishthata = staying Aadhasta = from below, Anyen = from another. Upari = above
Datrayaachakayorbhedh = Datra + Yachakayo + bhedh..
Datra = giver. Yaachak = beggar Bheda = difference. Karabhyaameva = Karabhyam + iva.
Karaabhyaam= by hands. Iva = exactly, almost. soochitah = communicated, made known.

i.e. The difference between a giver and a beggar is almost demonstrated (made known) by the position of their hands. One pair of hands (that of a beggar) stays below and another pair of hands (that of giver) stays above them.
(This subhashit demonstrates the power of observation of its author and linking it so nicely with the act of giving and receiving alms and underlining the supremacy of charity. In English language this can be called as "having an upper hand" )
