सतां संग   विना कोपि  लभेत्किम वाञ्छितम फलं  ।
नहि    संतापशान्तिः    स्यात्पूर्णचंद्रोदयं   विना  ।।

Sataam sang vinaa kopi labhetckim vaancchitam phalam.
nahi santaapshaantih syaatpoornachandrodaya

Sataam = noble and righteous persons.    Sang = company, association with.    Bina = without.
kopi = no body.   labhetkim = labhe +Kim .     Labhe = get , acquire.     Kim =  how.
Vaanchitam = desired.      Phalam = result.     Nahi = not     Santaap = suffering (due to a scorching day)       Shaanti = comfort, abatement.     Syaat = occurs , happens,
Poorna = full.     Chandrodayam = rising of the Moon.

i.e.     Without the association with and the company of noble and righteous persons  how can one obtain the desired results in his endeavour ?   The suffering created by a scorching day during summer months can not be abated until the rising of a cool full-moon in the sky.
