To day's Subhashit.

धनानि जीवितं चैव  पराSSर्थे प्राज्ञ उत्स्रजेत   ।
तन्निमित्तो वरं त्यागो विनाशे नियते सति   ।

Dhanaani jeevitam chaiva paraarthe pragya utsrajet.
Tannimitto varam tyaago vinaasho niyate sati.

Dhanaani = to money.    Jevitam = supporting oneself.    Chaiva = cha + iva.     Iva =indeed, essential.
Cha = an alphabet used to complete a word.      Paraarth = for the benefit of others
Praagya = wise and learned person, a Pandit.     Utsrajet = hand out, give.  Tannimitto = tad +nimitcto.    Tad = for that.    Nimitto = reason.      Varam = rather than , better.     Tyaago = sacrifice, relinquish.     Vinaashe =  destruction.     Niyate =fate, destined.     Sati = end , destruction.

i.e.    Although money is essential for supporting oneself, wise and learned persons do not hesitate to donate it to the needy persons for their benefit, for the reason that they are well aware that ultimately its destruction is a certainty.
