मूढजहीहि धनागमतृष्णाम् कुरु सद्बुद्धिं मनसि वितृष्णाम् |
यल्लभसे निजकर्मोपात्तं वित्त्तं तेन विनोदय चित्तम् ||
Moodhajaheehi dhanaagamatrushnaam kuru sadbuddhim manasi vitrushnaam.
yallabhase nijakarmopaattm vittam tena vinodaya chittam.
Moodha = perplexed, foolish, ignorant. Jaheehi = jahi + iha . Jahi = abandon, reject. Iha = this.
Dhanaagamtrushnaam = Dhan + aagam + trushnaam. Dhan = wealth. Agam = arrival, acquisition.
Dhanaagam = acquisition of wealth. Trushnaa= thirst, obsession, greed. Kuru = do, have.
Sadbuddhi = Sat + buddhi. Sat = right. Buddhi = talent, perception. Manasi = in the mind.
Vitrushnaa = freedom from desire. Yallbahse = Yah + labhase. Yah = you.
Labhase = gets through righteous means. Nijakarmopaattam = nija + karma +upaatam .
Nija = one's own. Karm= deeds, actions a= acquired, obtained. Vittam = wealth.
Tean = wirth that. Vinodaya = obtain pleasure. Chittam = mind.
i.e. O ignorant and foolish persons, abandon this obsession for acquiring wealth (by fair or foul means) and have the right perception in your mind and free yourself from this obsession.. Remember that whatever wealth you get is through your 'Karma' done earlier and you should be satisfied and obtain pleasure from whatever wealth you get accordingly.
(In Hindu Religion the concept of 'Karma' is unique. According to it if a person leads a pious and righteous life during his lifetime, he earns certain plus points called "Punya", which enable him to live a comfortable life and in his next birth he is born in a rich and affluent family as said in Bhagwadgeeta - "शुचीनां श्रीमताम् गेहे योगभ्रष्टोभिजायते."- (Sucheenaam shreemataam gehe yogabhrashtopi jaayate) i.e. those noble and righteous person, who due to some reason get deviated from the path of "Yoga", are born in a family of renown and righteous persons ins their next birth cyclr,. So it is said that you reap what you sow in your previous birth ,or at times in the present birth as well.)
