To day's Subhashit.

यस्य मित्रेण संभाषा यस्य मित्रेण संस्थितिः  |
मित्रेण सह्  यो भुङ्ग्ते ततो नास्तीह पुण्यवान् ||

Yasya mitrena sambhaasha yasya mitrena samsisthih.
Mitrena sah yo bhungte tato naasteeha punyavaan.

Yasya = whose.    Mitrena = with friends.   Sambhaashaa.= in conversation with, engaged with.
Samsthiti = staying together, nearness.     Sah = with     Yo= who.    Bhungte = share a meal.
Tato = then.    Naasteeha = Na +asti+iha.    Na = not.    Asti + is.    Iha = this Earth.
Punyavaan = virtuous.

i.e.    A person, who has very close relations with  his friends, engages  in  meaningful conversation with them and shares meals with them, then no one else is more virtuous than him in this world.

(This Subhashit underlines the pre-requisites for a meaningful friendship)
