To day's Subhashit.

Arakshitam tishthati daivarakshitam surakshitam daivahatam vinashyati.
jeevatyanaathopi vanepi rakshitah krutaprayatnopi grahe vinashyati.

Arakshitam = unprotected.    Tishthati =stays.    Daivarakshitam = protected by God (destiny).
Surakshitam = well protected.    Daivahatam = ill fated , striken by destiny.     Jeevatyanaathopi = jeevat +
anaath +api.     Jeevat = alive.    Anaath = without a protector or a master.   Api = even (to emphasise)
Vanepi = vana + api.      Vana = a forest.      Rakshitah = protected.    Krutaprayatnopi = kruta+prayatna +
api.     Kruta = done.    Prayatna = effort, labour.   Krutaprayatnopi = even after making sincere efforts.
Gruhe = at home.     Vinashyati = gets destroyed, perishes.

i.e.       An unprotected person stays on his own, but if protected by  the destiny is well protected, and if the destiny is against him (ill fated) he gets annihilated. If the destiny is in one's favour he remains protected  even in a dense forest and if the destiny is against him, he gets annihilated at his home inspite of making special efforts for his own protection.
