To day's Subhashita.

स्त्रीणां यौवनमर्थिनामनुगमो राज्ञां प्रतापः सतां
स्वास्थ्यं स्वल्पधनस्य संहतिरसहृत्तेश्च  वाग्डम्बरः  |    
स्वाSSचारस्य सदर्चनं परिणतेर्विद्याकुलस्यैकता
प्रज्ञाया धनमुन्नतेर्नतिततिः शान्तेर्विवेको बलम्   ||

Streenaam yauvanamarthinaamanugamo raagyaam prataph sataam.
swaasthyam swalpadhanasya samhatirasahruttshwa vaagdambarh.
Swaacharasya sadarchanam parinatervidyakulasykataa.
pragyaayaa dhanamunnaternatitatih shaanterviveko balam.

Streenaam = women.  Youvanamarthinaam  =  Youvan +arthinaam +anugamo.    Youvan = youth.     Arthinaam = industrious persons.  Anugamo=  servants.    Raagyaam = Kings, princes.
Prataph =  majesty, power.    Sataam = noble and righteous persons.    Swasthyam = good health.
swalpadhanasya = a person having very little wealth.   Samhatrashruttshw=samhati+rasa+hrutteshcha.
Samhati = frugality .       Rasa = sentiment.      Hrutteshcha = a crooked and wicked person's.
Vaagdambarh = pompous and boastful language.     Swaacharasya =  to a person of good conduct.
Sadarchanam = worship of deities and respect to superiors.   Parinatirvidyaakulasyekataa = Parinataih +
Vidyaa +kulasya + ekataa.    Parinataih = honourable and mature persons.  Vidya =learning, knowledge.
Kulasya = family's.     Ekataa = unity.     Pragyaayaa =  Teachers, pandits.   Dhanamunnatrnatitatih =
Dhan + unnati  +natitati.      Dhan = wealth, money.    Unnati = increase,development.
Natitati =excessive humbleness..    Shabtairviveko = Shaantia +viveko.    Shantyai = persons having a cool mind.     Viveko = wisdom, right judgement.       Balam =  power,strength., vigour.

i.e.         The power of women is in their youth., that of industrious persons in their servants, and that of kings in their majesty.  Noble and righteous persons' strength is in their good health and the strength of  a person  having very little wealth lies in his frugal habits.A crooked and wicked person's power is his pompous and boastful language, and a religious and simple person's strength lies is in worship of deities and respect to his superiors.  The strength of honorable persons is their Knowledge and learning ,and that of a family or a clan is in the unity among its members.  Lastly the power of  teachers is in their humbleness and ever increasing knowledge (which is their true wealth), and a sober person's strength is wisdom and ability to take correct decisions.
