To day's Subhashita.

वार्ता च कौतुकवती विमला च विद्या
लोकोत्तरः परिमलश्च कुरङ्गनाभे     |
तैलस्य विन्दुरिव वारिणि दुर्निवार-
मेतश्चयं   प्रसरति स्वयमेव लोके      ||

Vaartaa cha kautakvati vimala cha vidya
Lokottarah parimalashcha kuranganaabhe
tailasya vinduriva vaarini durnivaara-
metashchayam prasarati swayameva loke.

Vaartaa = news.    cha = also.    Kautakavati  = interesting.      Vimala = impeccable, faultless.
Vidya = learning, incantation, words spoken or sung.     Lokottarah = exceptional, uncommon.
Parimalashcha =  fragrance of    Kuranganaabhe = kuranga + naabhe.    Kurang = a deer.
Naabhe = musk, naval cavity..    Kurangnaabhe = a musk deer's  (In the higher altitudes of Himalayas a specie of deer is found.  Naval gland of these deer contains a substance which has a very strong fragrance.The deer is hunted to get this gland for manufacturing various perfumes. Due to poaching this specie is now considered as endangered specie and its hunting is banned.)
Tailasya = oil's    Binduriva = bindu + iva.      Bindu = drop.     Iva = like.     Vaarini = water.
Durnivaar = irrepressible, difficult to be kept back or suppressed.      Metashchayam  = Etad + chaym.     Etad = this.   Chayam = multitude, state of being many.  Etashchayam =  all these .    Prasarati = spreads.
Swayameva = itself  (without any special effort).     Loke = in ordinary life,  among people.

i.e.     An interesting News,  an impeccable and exceptional speech  (or song), and the fragrance of
the naval gland of a musk deer, spreads  far and wide without any special effort and can not be suppressed,  just like drops of oil falling on a water surface spread themselves. .
