To day's Subhashita.

भूमिपतावर्थपतौ  बाले वृद्धे तपोनिधौ विदुषि  |
योषिति मूर्खे गुरुषु च विदुषा नैवोत्तरं देयम्   ||

Bhoomipataavarthapatau  baale vruddhe taponidhau vidushi.
Yoshiti moorkhe gurushu cha vidushaa naivotaram deyam.

Bhoomipataavarthapatam = bhoomipati + arthapatau.     Bhoomipati = King, land lord.    
Arthpati = rich person.     Bale = children.      Vruddhe = aged persons.    Taponidhau =   eminently pious persons.      Vidushi  yoshiti = a  learned and wise woman.      Moorkhe = foolish persons.  
Gurushu = teachers.cha = also     Vidushaa = wise and learned.     Naivottaram naiva +uttaram.
Naiva =not, never.       Uttaram =  answers.  ( here the intention of the author is that one should  not to enter into an argument by putting a counter question to an answer.
a question..       Deyam = given.

i.e.          One should never engage in an argument with a king or land lord, children, aged persons,  eminently pious persons, a learned lady, foolish persons and learned persons.
