To day's Subhashita.

अन्यानि शास्त्राणि विनोदमात्रं प्राप्तेषु कालेषु न तैश्च किंचित्  |\
चिकित्सतज्ज्योतिषमन्त्रवादाः पदेपदे प्रत्ययमा वहन्ति  ||

Anyaani shaashtraani vinodamaatrm  praapteshu kaaleshu na taishch kimchit.
Chitisatajjyotishamantravaadaah padepade praryayamaa vahanti.

Anyaani = other.     Shaastraani = literary and scientific disciplines.     Vinod = amusement, pleasure.     Maatram = only.      Prapteshu = after gaining.     Kaaleshu = time.    Na = not
Taishch = Tahh + cha.     Tahh = that.   Cha = and.     kimchit = a little.
Chikitsa= medical care.  Tat = that.   Jyotisha = astrology.    Mantravaada = magic art.
Padepade = at every step.     Pratyayamaa = ordeals, challanges.    Vahanti= bear, face.

i.e.        Other disciplines of learning are for amusement and after lapse of some time are
not remembered. But medical care,  astrology and magical arts are such disciplines that a person practicing them faces ordeals and challenges at every step.
