To day's Subhashit/


दैवज्ञत्वं मान्त्रिकता भैषज्यं चाटुकौशलम्  |
एकैकमर्थलाभाय द्वित्रियोगास्तु दुर्लभाः   ||

Daivagyatvam maantrikataa bhaishajyam chaatukaushalam.
ekaikamarthalaabhaaya dvatriyogaastu durlabhaah.

Daivagyatvam = The skill of an astrologer of foretelling the future of a person.
Maantrikataa = sorcery, use of power gained from evil spirits, magic.
Bhaishajyam = medical profession.     Chatukaushalam = chatu + kaushalam.
Chatu = flattery.     Kaushalam = skill.    Ekaikamarthalaabhaaya =  ekaika +artha +laabhaaya.
Ekaik = even one.    Artha = wealth.    Laabhaaya = causing gain of.   Dvitriyogaastu = dvi +tri +
yogaastu.      Dvi = two.     Tri = three.      Yogaastu = combination, union.    Durlabhaah = rare,
difficult to be found.

i.e.         Astrology, sorcery, medical profession and expertise in flattery, even any one of these faculties in a person is sufficient to make him wealthy. A combination of two or three of these faculties in a person is difficult to be found.
