Na = not. Santyajya = give up. Te = they. Dhairyam = patience
kadaachidapi = Kadachit + api. Kadaachit =some times Api - even.
Paandava = son of Pandu. (reference to Yudhishthara) Dheerasya = a strong minded person's.
Spashtadandasya= Spashta+dandasya. Spashta = clear perception. Dandasya = about punishment.
Bhayam = fear. Vidyate = exists. Kvachit = somewhat.
Continuing his discourse about the 'Raajdharma', Bheeshma further says -
" O illustrious son of Pandu ! You should never be impatient. A king who does not hesitate in giving punishment to criminals and wrong doers and is always clear in his perception, is immune to fear of all kinds.
(If we view the indecision of the Indian Government in not implementing the order of death sentence by our Supreme Court to the perpetrators of terror attack on our Parliament for so many years, we can conclude that the Government of the day did not observe the 'Rajdharma', resulting in yet another attack by the terrorists on Mumbai, in which hundreds of people were ruthlessly killed by the terrorists.)
