Today's Subhashita.

Ekena shshkavrukshena dahyamaanena vahninaa
dahyate tadvanam sarvam dushputrena kulam yathaa.

Ekena = by only one (in number)    Shushkavrukshena =  Shushka + vrukshena.   Shushka = dried.
Vrukshena = by a tree.    Dahyamaanena = dahyamaana + aina      Dahyamaan = in flames.  aina = this.
Vahninaa = by the fire.     Dahyate = destroyed by fire.     Tadvanam = tad + vanam.    Tad = thus.
Vanam = forest.    Sarvam = entire, all.    Dushputrena = duh: +putrena.    Duh =bad.  Putrena = son .
Dushputrena = by a bad  and  unworthy son.    Kulam = family.     Yatha = for instance,  like.

i.e.       Even if a single dried up tree in a forest catches fire, it destroys the entire forest by the fire spreading out, just like a bad and unworthy son destroys by his actions and behaviour  the credibility and fame of a family to which he belongs.
