Today's Subhashita.

विद्या  ददाति  विनयं विनयाद् याति पात्रताम्  |
पात्रत्वात् धनमाप्नोति धनाद् धर्म ततः सुखम्  ||

अर्थ -      विद्या प्राप्त करने से  मनुष्य मे विनयशीलता उत्पन्न होती है और विनयशील  होने से उस मे सफ़लता पूर्वक कार्य करने की क्षमता आ जाती है ,जिस के फलस्वरूप वह् धनवान हो जाता है |
धनवान् होने के पश्चात् धर्माचरण करने से वह् सुखमय जीवन व्यतीत करता है |


Vidyaa = knowledge and learning.      Dadati = gives.     Vinayam = modesty, politeness.
Vinayaad =  by being modest.    Yaati = achieves.     Paatrataam = worthiness, capacity.
Paatratvaat = by acquiring the capacity to achieve something, worthiness   Dhanamaapnoti = dhanam +aapnoti. Dhana = wealth, money.    Aapnoti = acquires, obtains.    Dhanaad = through the use of wealth.    Dharm = religiosity. conscientiousness.     Tatah = therefrom.
Sukham = happiness,

i.e.     Knowledge and learning makes a man modest and polite, and by being modest he acquires
worthiness and capacity to successfully accomplish any task, which in turn help him to become wealthy.  If after acquiring wealth he adopts  a religious and conscientious lifestyle, he lives happily
thereafter.
