Saa shreerya na madam kuryaatsa sukhee trunayojjhitah.
Tanmitram yatra vishvaasah purushah sa jitendriyah.
Saa = she. Shreerya = shreeh +yaa. Shree = wealth, high rank. Yaa =who. Na = not/
Mada = liquor, intoxication. Kuryaatsa = Kuryaat +sa. Kuryat = does. Sa = he.
Sukhee = happy. truna yod= blades of grass. Jitah = given up. tanmitram = tam +mitram.
Tam = he. Mitram = friend. Yatra = where. Vishvaash = faith. Purushah = a person.
Jitendriyah = one who hs control over sensory organs, ascetic
i.e. Wealth and high status is well achieved if it does not intoxicate its recipient and such a person can be happy only if he considers wealth insignificant like a blade of grass. A person can be considered a friend only when he is trustworthy, and a person can be considered as a noble person only if he has full control over his sensory organs.
