Daanena tulyam suhrudaasti naanyo
Lobhaacccha naanyosti ripuh pruthivyaam

Santosh tulyam dhanamasti naanyat.
Daanena = charity Tulyam = like (for comparison) Suhrudaasti =
suhruda + asti. Suhruda = friend, well wisher. asti = is.
Naanyo = na+ anyo. Na = not. Anyo = another. Lobhaaccha=
Lobhaat + cha. Lobhaat = (like)greed. Cha = and. Naanyosti =
is none other. Ripuh = enemy. Pruthivyaam = in this world.
Vibhooshanam = adornment. Sheela = character. Samam =equal,
similar. Chaanyat = cha+anyat. Anyat = another. Santosh =
contentedness Tulyam = equal to. Dhanamasti = dhanam + asti.
Dhanam = wealth. Naanayat = na+ anyat.
i.e. There is no better friend and well wisher like the charitable nature
of a person and no enemy more harmful than greed. There is no adornment
of one's personality comparable to good moral character and no wealth is
comparable to contentedness in a person.
