Today's Subhashita.

अतिमलिने कर्तव्ये भवति खलानामतीव निपुणा धीः |
तिमिरे  हि  कौशिकानां  रूपं  प्रतिपद्यते  दृष्टिः       ||

अर्थ -    दुष्ट और नीच व्यक्तियों में अत्यन्त घृणित कार्यों को करने  की
उसी प्रकार विशेष प्रतिभा  होती है जैसी  कि एक उल्लू की वस्तुओं  को
ठीक तरह से देखने और परखने की क्षमता अन्धकार में ही वापस आती है |

Atimaline kartavye bhavati khalaanaamateeva nipunaa dheeh .
Timire hi kaushikaanaam roopam pratipadyate  drushtih.

Atimaline = ati + maline.     ati = very much.    Maline = dirty, foul.
Kartavye = task, duty.   Bhavati = happens, become.  Khalaanamateeva=
Khalaanaam + ateeva.        Khalaanaam = wicked persons.      Ateeva=
very, extremely.     Nipunaa= keen, sharp.    Dheeh =  intelligence.
Timire = darkness.      Hi = surely,     Kaushikaanaam = owls.
Roopam = figure, appearance.    Pratipadyate = comes back.
Drushtih =  eyesight, vision.

i.e.     Wicked and mean persons show their keenness and super intelligence
in the performance of very dirty and foul tasks just like the owls, who get
back their power to see and visualise things only in the darkness.
