Today's Subhashita.

 Alobhh paramam vittam  aimsaa paramam tapah//
Amaayaa paramaa vidyaa nirvadyaa maneeshinaam.

Alobha = absence of greed.   Paramam = absolute. supreme.
Vittam = wealth.    Ahimsaa= non violence.    Tapa = religious
austerity.    Amaayaa = absence of  any type of illusion or deceit .
Paramaa= absolute, supreme.   Vidya = knowledge,learning.
Niravadyaa = blameless, unblemished.  Maneeshinaam =
sages, noble and righteous persons.

i.e.        Not being greedy in spite of being rich is the  absolute form
of wealth, and observance of non violence is also the best form of
religious austerity.   Absence of any type of illusion or deceit is the
absolute form of knowledge one can have.. And similarly having  an
unblemished character is the absolute virtue to qualify as a sage or
a great person.
