Today's Subhashita.

Asantoshosukhaayiva  lobhaadindriyavibhramah.
Tatosya nashyati  pragyaa vidyaivaabhyaasavarjitaa.

Asantoshosukhaayaiva = asantosho +asukha+aiva.     Asantrosho =
discontent, displeasure..     Asukha = unhappiness.     aiva = also
Lobhaadindriyavibhramah = loobhaat+indriya +vibhrama
Lobhaat = from des.    Indriya = sensory organs,    Vibhrama =
confusion, disturbance, loss of control.    Tatosya = tato + asya.
Tato = then,     Asya = of this.     Nashyati = perishes, destroyed.
Pragyaa = intelligence.    Vidyaivaabhyaasavarjitaa = vidya+ aiva+
abhyaasa+ varjitaa.     Vidya = knowledge, learning.   Aiva = also.
Abhyaas = regular practise,      Varjitaa = without, deprived of.

i.e.         Always remaining discontented and unhappy creates desires among
people and they lose control over their sensory organs,  As a result they
not only lose their intelligence but for want of regular practise they also lose
their acquired knowledge .

(Uncontrolled desires turn into greed and a person suffering from it goes
to any extent to satisfy his greed without bothering for its consequences,
which ultimately results in his downfall.)
