इहानेके सन्तः सततमुपकारिण्युपकृतिं
कृतज्ञः कुर्वन्ते जगति निवसन्तोSपि सुधियः |
कियन्तस्ते सन्तः सुकृतपरिपाक प्रणयिनो
विनास्वार्थं येषां भवति परकृत्यव्यसिनता || -सुभषितरत्नाकर
अर्थ - इस संसार में अभी भी ऐसे अनेक सन्त व्यक्ति होते हैं
जो सहायता पाने के इच्छुक व्यक्तियों को सहायता प्रदान करने के
लिये सदैव तत्पर रहते हैं | क्यों कि इस प्रकार जनसामान्य को बिना
किसी स्वार्थ के हर प्रकार की सहायता प्रदान कर उन्हें उपकृत करना
इन सन्तों को अत्यन्त प्रिय होता है |

Krutagyah kurvante jagati nivasantopi sudhiyah.
Kiyantaste santah sukrutaparipaaka pranayino
Vinaa svaartham yeshaam bhavati parakrutyavyasinataa.
Ihaaneko = Iha + aneko. Iha = in this world. aneko = many.
Santhh = ascetic, noble persons. Satatamupakaarinyupakruthm =
satat + upakaarinyam +upakrutim. Satat = always.continuously.
upakaarinyam = benefactor, Upakrutam = benefited, helped.
Krutagyah = grateful, obliged. Kurvante = do. Jagati = world,,
makind. Nivasantopi = nivasanto + api. Nivasanto = living.
Api =even. Sudhiyah = wise men. Kiyantaste = kiyant +tey.
kiyant = do Tey = they. Sukruta = good deds.. Paripaak +
result, perfection. Praniyano = longing for, fond of.
Vinaa = withut. Svartham = self interest. Yeshaam =to whom.
Bhavati = happens, becomes. Parakrutya = another's business or
affairs.. Vyasinataa = addiction or attachment.
i.e. In this world even now we find many noble persons who
are always keen to provide help to the needy persons .They oblige
the needy persons with perfection without any self interest of their
own, because they are very fond of doing so.
