नारुन्तुदः स्यादार्तोऽपि परद्रोहकर्मधीः |
ययास्योद्विजते वाचा नालोक्यां तामुदीरयेत् || - विदुर नीति
भावार्थ - किसी दुःखी और पीडित व्यक्ति को, चाहे उसकी
मानसिकता अन्य व्यक्तिओं को हानि पहुंचाने की ही क्यों न
हो, कभी भी और दुःखी नहीं करना चाहिये तथा उससे
उत्तेजित हो कर या डर कर ऊंची आवाज में बात कर अपना
परलोक नहीं बिगाडना चाहिये ( पाप का भागी नहीं बनाना
चाहिये) |

Yasyaasyodvijate vaachaa naalokyam taamudeerayet.
Naasantudah = na + aruntudah. Na = not. Aruantudah =
cause pain, Syaadaartopi = syaat + aarto + api. Syaat =
perchance , perhaps.. Aarta = distresssed. Api = even if,
Paradrohakarmadheeh = paradroha +karma+ dheeh.
Prardroha = causing harm to others. Karma = deeds.
Dheeh = mental attitude. Yasyaasyodvijate= ya+ yasya +.
udvijate Yasya = whose. Asyo = this. Udvijate =
frightened, be agitated. Vaachaa = speaking. Naalokyaam =
na + aalokyam . Alokyaam = the afterlife (heaven) Taam =
him, her. Udeerayet = should raise one's voice, get excited.
i.e. One should never displease and cause pain to a person
who is already distressed, even if his mentality is to harm others,
and should also not get afraid or excited and speak to him in
a raised voice, thereby spoiling your afterlife .
