Today's Subhashita.

उत्तमे सह सङ्गेन को  न याति समुन्नतिं  |
मूर्ध्ना तृणानि धार्यन्ते ग्रथितैः कुसुमैः सह || -महासुभषितसंग्रह

भावार्थ -        ऐसा कोई  व्यक्ति नहीं होता है जो उत्तम (महान)
व्यक्तियों की संगति मे उन्नति और उच्च पद प्राप्त नहीं कर पाता
है |   देखो न साधारण घास के तिनके  भी  पुष्पों के साथ गूंथे  जाने
पर   लोगों द्वारा  मस्तक  पर  धारण किये  जाते हैं |

Uttame  saha sangena ko  na yaati samunnatim.
Moordhnaa trunaani dhaaryante grathitaih  kusumaih saha.

Uttame = excllent persons.   Saha =  with.     Sangena = by
association.    Ko  = who     Na = not.    Yaati = achieves.
Samunnatim = advancement, high position.     Moordhna =
0n the forehead.   Trunaani =  blades of grass.  Dhaaryante =
placed on.   Grathitaih = tied with.   Kusumaoh = flowers.

i.e.      ' You will not find any person who does not achieve high
position and advancement in the company of great and excellent
person,   See, even the blades of ordinary grass when ties with
beautiful flowers get placed on the foreheads of people
