आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

कनिष्ठेषु च सर्वेषु समत्वेनानुवर्तते |
समोपभोगजीवेषु यथेव तनयेषु  च  || - महासुभषित सं ग्रह(८५६२)

भावार्थ -    अपने से आयु में  छोटे तथा अन्य सभी लोगों से भी
शान्ति और सद्भावना पूर्वक  व्यवहार करना चाहिये तथा अपने ही
स्तर के व्यक्तियों से इस प्रकार  व्यवहार करना चाहिये जैसा कि
हम  अपनी संतान के प्रति करते हैं |

Kanishtheshu  cha sarveshu samatvenaanuvartate .
Samopabhogajeeveshu yatheva tanayeshu cha.

Kanishtheshu = smallest, juniors.   Cha = and.    Sarveshu =
every one    Samatvenaanuvartate = samatvena +anuvartate.
Samatvena = with equanimity.    Anuvartate = attend, treat.
Samopabhogajeveshu = sama+ upabhoga+ jeeveshu.
Sama = equal, same.   Upabhoga = using, eating,   Jeeveshu =
living being.    Yatheva = just as.   Tanayeshu = sons, children.

i.e.       We should treat people junior to us as also others with
equanimity, and those who are equal in status with us should
be treated just like our own children.
