Today's Subhashita.

Kaarpanya vruttih svajaneshu nindaa kuchelataa neecha
-janeshu bhaktih.
Ateeva roshah katukaa cha vaanee narasyachihnam
-narakaagatasya.

kaarpanya = parsimony ( extreme unwillingness to spend
money,     Vruttih = a practitioner.   svajaneshu = relatives.
Nindaa = abuse, defamation.  Kuchelataa = being dressed
in dirty and tattered garments.    Neecha= mean, inferior.
Janeshu = persons.   Bhaktih =devotion.   Ateeva = extremely.
Roshah = anger.    Katukaa = bad, foul.   Vaanee = speech.
Narasya = a person's   Chihnam = characteristic. symbol,
Narakaagatasya =  Naraka +aagatasya.    Naraka = the Hell
Aagatasya = a person who has arrived,

i.e.        If a person is a practitioner of  parsimony, is abusive
toward his close relatives,  dresses in dirty and tattered garments,
is devoted to mean and wicked persons, very angry bn nature and
uses foul and harsh words while speaking to others,  then all
these characteristics are that of a person to be consigned to Hell.

(The idea behind this Subhashita is that a person having the
shortcomings described in it is doomed to endure all the hardships
of the Hell even during his lifetime.)
