आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashitनाम a.

यन्मातापितरौ क्लेशं सहेते संभवे  नृणाम्  |
न तस्य  निष्कृतिः  शक्या कर्तुं वर्षशतैरपि  ||
                                   - मनुस्मृति (२/२८७ )

भावार्थ -      अपनी संतान के लालन पालन में माता और पिता जो
क्लेश (समस्याएं और कष्ट) सहन करते हैं उसका प्रत्युपकार उनकी
संतान के द्वारा सौ वर्षों तक उनकी सेवा करने  से भी  संभव  नहीं है |

(शास्त्रों में कहा गया है कि माता पिता और गुरुओं के ऋण  से व्यक्ति
कभी भी उऋण नहीं हो सकता है | परन्तु आजकल लोग अपने माता
पिता को उनकी वृद्धावस्था में अकेला छोड देते हैं  जो उनका निकृष्टतम
अधार्मिक कृत्य  होता है |  )

Yanmaaataapitarau  klesham sahete sambhave nrunaam.
Na tasya nishkritih shakyaa kartum varshashatairapi..

Yanmaataapitarau = yat + maata + pitarau.   Yat =  that.
Maataa = mother.   Pitarau = father.   Klesham = grief,
difficulties.   Sahete = tolerate, bear.   Sambhave = possible.
Nrunaam = men, people.  Na = not. Tasya = its.  Nishkritih=
recompense, atonement.    Shakyaa = possible.     Kartum =
to do.   Varshatairapi = Varsha+shataih+ api.    Varsha =yeara
Shataih = one hundred.   Api = even.

i.e.      The  troubles  parents face while upbringing their children
can not be recompensed by their children even by taking care of
their parents for one hundred years.

(Scriptures have prescribed that one can not get absolved of his
responsibility towards his parents and Teachers. Now-a-days we
see just the opposite happening in the society.   Aged parents are
being abandoned by their children, which is the worst sin committed
by them.)
