आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

यस्य पुत्रो  वशीभूतो  भार्या छन्दानुगामिनी |
विभवे  यश्च सन्तुष्टस्तस्य  स्वर्ग इहैव हि  ||
                               - चाणक्य नीति (२/०३ )

भावार्थ -    जिस  व्यक्ति की सन्तान  आज्ञाकारी हो , पत्नी
उसकी इच्छाओं के अनुसार ही सभी कार्य करने वाली हो ,तथा
वह अपने पास उपलब्ध  धन संपत्ति से पूर्णतः संतुष्ट हो , तो
निश्चय ही उसके लिये  यह पृथ्वी ही स्वर्ग के समान है |

Yasya putro vasheebhooto  bhaaryaa  chandaanugaaminee.
Vibhave  yashcha  santushtastasya  Svarga Ihaiva  hi.

Yasya = whose    Putro = son, children.   Vasheebhooto =
obedient, under control.    Bhaaarya = wife.   Chanda  +
anugaaminee.     Chanda = desires, wishes.  Anugaminee=
follower.    Vibhavae = riches, wealth.   Yasya =  whose.
Santushtih + tasya.    Santushtih = contentment, complete
satisfaction.    Tasya = his.    Svarga = heaven.  Iha + eva.
Iha = in this world.      Eva = really, thus.   Hi = surely.

i.e.    A person whose children are obedient, his wife fulfils
all his desires, and  is contented with whatever wealth he
possesses, this World itself is like the Heaven for him.
