अनालोक्य व्ययं कर्ता अनाथः कलहप्रियः |
आतुरः सर्वक्षेत्रेषु नरः शीघ्रं विनश्यति ||
- चाणक्य नीति (१२/१९ )
भावार्थ - अत्यधिक तथा अनावश्यक व्यय करने वाला ,अनाथ
(जिस के माता पिता न हों ) झगडालू स्वभाव वाला , बीमार तथा
जीवन के सभी क्षेत्रों मे समस्याओं से त्रस्त व्यक्ति का शीघ्र नाश
हो जाता है |
Anaalokya vyayam kartaa anaathah kalahapriyah.
Aaturah sarva-kshetreshu narah sheeghram vinashyati.
Anaalokya = very unusual or unallowed. Vyayam=
expenditure. Kartaa = doer. Anaathah = an orphan.
Kalahapriya = quarrelsome. Aaturah = diseased or
sick, troubled. Sarva = all. Kshetreshu = departments.
Narah = a person. Sheeghram = quickly. Vinashyati =
perishes, destroyed.
i.e. A person who is in the habit of incurring very high
and unnecessary expenditure, or is an orphan, or quarrelsome
by nature, suffers from a disease, or is troubled in all other
areas of life, perishes quickly.

ReplyDeleteMay be for want of good upbringing and education during their childhood, orphans become a neglected lot.
