Hitechchunaa tu kartavyh sataamev samaagamh.
sarasaanaam sumanasaam shatpadenev sarvadaa.
Hithechunaa = seekers of welfare. Tu= is Krtavyh = duty. Sataamev = with righteous persons.
Samaagamh = associate with, approach. Sarasaanaam = having a sweet liquid, nectar
Sumanasaam = beautiful flowers. Shatpadenev = shatpaden + iva. Shatpad = honey-bee.
Iva = like. Shatpaden = like a honey-bee. Sarvadaa = always, at all times.
i.e. It should be the duty of seekers of welfare to always associate with noble and righteous persons, just like the honey-bees which always throng around beautiful flowers to collect the nectar (sweet liquid inside flowers) for making honey.
(By comparing noble and righteous persons to beautiful flowers containing nectar (sweet liquid and pollen in them akin to virtues of such persons) and seekers of welfare to honey-bees, the author praises the virtues of righteous persons and at the same time exhorts ordinary persons to seek the company of such persons if they want prosperity and welfare in their life.)
