To day's Subhashit.

यः प्रीणयेत्सुचरितैः पितरं स पुत्रो
यद्भर्तुरेव हितमिच्छति तत्कलत्रम्  |
तन्मित्रमापदि सुखे च समक्रियं य -
देतत्रयं जगति पुण्यकृतो लभन्ते    ||

Yah preenayetsucharitaih pitaram sa putro.
Yadbhartureva hitamicchati tatkalatram.
tanmitramaapadi sukhe cha samakriyam ya-
detatrayam jagati punyakruto labhanter.

Yah = who soever.     Preenayeta = gains the favour of.      Sucharitaih = virtuous, having good conduct.
Pitaram = father, ancestors.    Sa = he.     Putro = son.   Yadbhartureva = Yat +bhartu + iva,      Yad= who.    Bhartu = husband.  Iva = indeed.      Hitamicchati = hitam + icchati.     Hitam = interests.    icchati = desires, wishes.  Tatkalatram = tad + kalatram,     Tad = he or she.     Kalatram = wife, consort. Tanmitramaapadi = tan +mitra+ aapadi.      Tan = he.     Mitra = friend.      Apadi = misfortune, calamity.   Sukhe = happiness.
Samakriyam = acting uniformly.    ya=detatryam = yad + eta + trayam  = where all these three..
Jagati = in this World.      Punyakruto = pious and virtuous persons.     Labhante = achieve, get.

i.e.    Who soever is virtuous and takes cares of his parents and gains their favour is a real son,  a woman is a true wife who always looks after the interests of her husband,  a true friend  is a person who is always by your side to equally share your happiness and sorrows.   Only the pious and virtuous persons are fortunate to be bestowed by these three types of  persons in this World..
