To day's Subhashit.

लुब्धानां याचकः शत्रुश्चोराणाम् चन्द्रमा रिपुः |
जारस्त्रीणां  पतिः शत्रुर्मूर्खाणां  बोधको   रिपुः. ||

Lubdhaanaam yachakah shatruschoraanaam Chandramaa ripuh.
Jaarastreenaam patih shatrurmoorkhaanaam bhodhako ripuh.

Lubdhaanaam = greedy persons.    Yachakh = beggar.  Shatruschoraanaam = shatru + choraanam.
Shatru = enemy.     Choraanam = thieves.      Chandramaa = Moon.    Ripuh = enemy.
Jaarastreenaam = Jaar + streenaam.     Jaar = adulterous, having illicit lover.    Streenaam = women.
Patih = husband.    Moorkhaanaam= foolish persons, idiots.    Bodhak = a teacher, instructor.

i.e.      To misers and greedy persons a beggar is like an enemy and to thieves a waxing (or full) moon is like an enemy. Similarly, to an adulterous woman her husband is like an enemy and to foolish persons a teacher or instructor is an enemy.
