To day's Subhashit.

मुखं पद्मदलाकारं वाचा चन्दन शीतला  |
हृदयं क्रोधसंयुक्तं त्रिविधं धूर्तलक्षणम्  ||

Mukham padmadalaakaaram vaachaa chandan sheetlaa.
Hrudayam krodhsamyuktam trividham dhoortlakshnam.

Mukham = face.     Padmadalaakaaram = Padma +dal + aakaaram.    Padma = lotus flower.
Dal = petal.    Aakaaram =  shape.     Vaachaa = speech.     Chandan = sandalwood paste.
Sheetalaa = cool, soothing.    Hrudayam =  heart.      Krodhsamyuktam = Krodh +samyuktam.
Krodha = anger.     Samyuktam = filled with.    Trividham = of three kinds.    Dhoorta = a rogue, a cunning person.     Lakshnam = symptoms.

i.e.       Outwardly his face  beams like a lotus flower, his speech is cool like sandalwood paste, but
inwardly his heart is filled with anger.  These are the three symptoms by which a cunning person can be identified.
