To day's Subhashit.

उपदेशो हि मूर्खाणां प्रकोपाय न शान्तये |
पयः पान भुजङ्गानां केवलं विषवर्धनम्  ||

Upadesho hi moorkhaanaam prakopaaya na shantaye.
Payah paan bhujanganaam kevalam visha vardhanam.

Upadesh = guidance, teaching, preaching..     Hi = surely.     Moorkhaanam = stupid person.
Prakopaay = anger, rage.     Shaantaye = pacified, calm down.    Paya = milk.
Paan = serving a drink.      Bhujangaanaam = snakes.     Kevalam = only.
Vishavardhanam = Visha + vardhanam .    Visha = poison.   Vardhanam = increases.

i.e.        The anger of a stupid and dull headed person can not be pacified simply by preaching him. Doing so is just like feeding a snake with milk, which results only in increase in its poison.
