Ekaiva kavitaa pumsaam graamaayaashyaaya hastine.
Antatonnaaya vastraay taamboolaay cha kalpate.
Ekaiva = eka+eva. Eka = one. Eva = already,really. Kavita = podetry. Pumsaam = men
Graamaayaashyaay = graamaayaa + ashvaaya Graamaayaa = villages. Ashvyaaya = horses.
Hastine = elephants. Antatonnaya = Antato +annaya. Antato = ultimately.
Annaya = cooked food. Tamboolaaya = betal leaves stuffed with condiments, herbs and lime eaten after having a meal. Cha = also Kalpate = desires, orders for.
i.e. Already owning villages, horses and elephants, nice clothes and also enjoying poetry in an assembly of learned men, ultimately people crave for a sumptuous dinner, concluding with a serving of 'Taambool' .
