To day's Subhashita..

द्वे  भार्ये  बहवः पुत्रा  दारिद्र्यं रोगसंभवः  |
जीर्णौ च मातापितरावेकैकं मरणाSधिकम्  ||

Dve bhaarye bahavh putraa daaridrym rogasambhavhh.
jeerno cha maataapitaraavekasikam maranaadhikam.

Dve = two.    Bhaarye = wives,    Bahavah = many.     Putraa = sons.      Daaridryam = poverty.
Rogasambhavahh = Rpga +sambhavahh.      Roga = disease.     Sambhavahh = possibility.
Jeernou = aged.     Cha = and.   Mataapitaraavevaikam = Maata+pitarou+ekaikam.
Maataa = mother.    Pitarou = parents,father and mother (together).   ekaikam = each one.
Maranaadhikam =  marana + adhikam.      Marana = death.     Adhikam = more than.

i.e.     If a person has two wives and many sons, then there is the possibility of poverty and diseases in the family.  And if over and above this his parents are aged, then this situation is more than facing the death.
