Uttamasya kshanam kopo madhyamasya praharadvyam.
Adhamasya ahoraatram paapishtho naiva muchyate.
Uttamasya = righteous and morally superior persons. Kshanam= momentary. Kopo = anger.
Madhyamasya = a moderate person's Praharadvyam = Prahar + dvyam. Prahar = 1/8th part of a day'
(According to Indian Astronomy a day is divided into eight prahars of approximately 3 hours each as per the Western system of time management. 'Praharadvya' is, therefore from sunrise upto mid day,) .
Dvyam = two. Adhamasya = person of lowest category. Ahoraatram = day and night.(24 hours).
Paapishtho = most wicked and sinful. Naiva = never. Muchyate = escapes, get rid of.
i.e. The anger among righteous and superior persons remains momentarily, whereas in persons of average intelligence it remains for about two "Prahars' ( six hours).. Among persons of lowest category anger remains for a period of one day and night (24 hours), but in case of most wicked and sinful persons it never leaves them.
