Today's Subhashita.

Sumukhopi suvruttopi sanmarge patitopi cha.
Mahataam paadlagnopi vyathayatveva kantakah.

Sumukhopi = sumukha +api.     Sumukha = good looking, fair faced.     Api = even.
Suvruttopi = suvrutta + api.     Suvrutta = well shaped.     Sanmaargo = right path, well paved road.
Patitopi = patita +api.     Patita = dropped, fallen into.    Cha = also.    Mahataam = virtuous and noble persons.       Paadalagnopi = paadlagna + api.      Paadlagna = lying at the feet of a person.
Vyathyatveva = Vyathayati + iva .     Vyathayati = hurts,     Iva = like .    Kantakah = a thorn.

i.e.       Wicked people may be fair and handsome in their appearance and may be following the right path in the company of noble and righteous persons and may even be bowing at their feet, but ultimately, due to their inherent wicked nature, they hurt the noble persons just like a thorn lying on a well  paved road piercing their feet while walking on the road.

(Through this Subhashita the author warns people not to keep the company of wicked persons, who may outwardly behave nicely, but ultimately cause harm to them.)
