Today's Subhashita.

Anto naasti pipaasaayaah santoshah paramam sukham.
Tasmaatsantoshameveha dhanam pashyanti panditaah.

Anto = end.   Naasti = is not.   Pipaasaayaah = thirst, excessive craving for any thing culminating
into  greed.      Santoshah = satisfaction.     Paramam = absolute, greatest.    Sukham = pleasure.
happiness.    Tasmaatsantoshameveha=  tasmaat + santosham +eva+iha.    Tasmat = therefore.
iva = indeed.   Iha = in this world.  Dhanam = wealth.    Pashyanti = see.  Panditaah = learned men

i.e.     There is no end to the craving for acquiring  more and more worldly things (alluded to thirst).
So, being satisfied with one's lot is the situation of ultimate bliss.   Therefore, learned persons perceive the attitude of being satisfied with whatever one has, as the real wealth.
