Today's Subhashita.

असंभाभाव्य न भाषेत् भाषसे  यदि तत्तथा |
परेषां  हि समुद्वेगे  नात्मनश्च  शुभं  फलं  ||

अर्थ  -       हमें ऐसी कोई भी बात अन्य व्यक्तियों  से नहीं कहनी चाहिये
जिस का होना संभव ही न हो , क्योंकि बाद में ऐसा करने वाले व्यक्ति को
अपनी असफलता के कारण व्यथित  और लज्जित  होना पडता है जो उसके
लिये अन्ततः शुभ फल दायक नहीं  होता है |

Asambhaavya na bhaashet bhaasashe yadi tattathaa.
Pareshaam hi samudvege naatmanashcha shubham phalam.

Asambhaavya =  to be regarded as not possible.    Na = not.
Bhaashet = should speak.    Bhaashse  =  you speak.    Yadi = if.
Tattahaa = if so.    Pareshaam =  afterwards .      Hi= because.
Samudvege = being perturbed or agitated.       Naatmanah=
na = aatmanah.    Na = not.     Atmanah =  self.     Shubham =
auspicious, good.     Phalam = result,reward, fruit.

i.e.        We should not say any such thing which is not possible to be
accomplished, because if a person does so , afterwards he has to face
great agitation and indignity and the end result is never favourable
to him.
