Today's Subhashita.

Ahoraatramayae loke jaraa roopena smcharan.
Mrutyurgrasati bhootaani pavanam pannago yathaa.

Ahoraatramaye =    Having the phenomenon  of days and nights
Loke = in this world.     Jaraa = old age, ageing.     Roopena = in the
form of.     Sancharan =  roaming ..    Mrutyurgrasati = mrutyuh + grasati.
Mrutyuh = death.     Grasati = swallows.     Bhootaani = all living beings.
Pavanam - wind.      Pannago = wild  Himalayan cherries.   Yatha = like.

i.e.      In this World having the phenomenon of cyclic occurrence of days and
nights , Death in the garb of ageing (the process of becoming old) devours all
the living beings just like a strong wind causing the ripened berries of a tree
to fall on the ground.
