Today's Subhashita.

Pibanti + drink  up.      Madhupadmeshu = Madhu +padmeshu,
Madhu = honey, nectar.          Padmeshu = lotus flowers.
Bhrungaah =  bees.      Kesardhoosaraah =  Kesar + dhoosaraah.
Kesar = Saffron.      Dhoosaraah = dust.  pollen    Hansaah =
Swans.              Shaivaalamashnanti = shaivalam + ashnanti.
Shaivaalam = moss (an under-water plant  like twigs of small grass).
Ashnanti = eat, consume.     Dhigdaivamasamanjasam + dhik +
Daiva + asamanjasam.    Dhik = what a pity (an interjection  used
to express displeasure, woe betide.    Daivam = destiny.fate.
Asamanjasa = unbecoming, impropriety.

i.e.     Honey bees feed upon the nectar of lotus flowers and are
covered with the pollen of Saffron flowers, but woe betide the
Destiny, beautiful Swans have to remain content by eating the
moss grown under the water.

(The idea behind this Subhashita is that people get whatever is
destined for them irrespective of their ability and status.)
