Today's Subhashita.

अनुकूले  विधौ देयं यतः पूरयते  हरिः  |
प्रतिकूले विधौ देयं यतः सर्वं हरिष्यति ||    - सुभषितरत्नाकर

अर्थ -     यदि किसी व्यक्ति  का भाग्य उसके अनुकूल होता है तो
उसकी  सभी इच्चायें  भगवान विष्णु  परिपूर्ण  कर देते हैं , परन्तु  
यदि भाग्य उसके प्रतिकूल होता है तो उसका सर्वस्व  नष्ट हो जाता है  |

Anukoole Vidhau deyam yatah poorayate Harih
Pratikoole  Vidhau deyam yatah sarvam harishyati.

Anukool = favourable, kind.    Vidhau = destiny.     Deyam =
to be granted or given.    Yatah = because, since.     Poorayate =
fulfills, completes.    Harih = the God Vishnu.     Pratikoole =
unfavourable, adverse.     Sarvam =  every thing.   Harishyati =
takes away, robs.

i.e.      If the destiny is favourable to a person  all his wishes are
fulfilled by the God Vishnu,  but if destiny is unfavourable to him
he  loses whatever he has got.
