Today's Subhashita.

Aagamaadeva narakaah shrooyante rauravaadayah,
Vishayitvam daridraanaam pratyaksham naranak viduh .

Aagamaadeva = aagam + adeva;    Aagam = the Vedas.
Adeva = not divine or pious.        Narakaah = Hells.
(In Hindu scriptures 28 types of Hells have been listed.
where the sinners are sent after their death according to
the types of sins committed during their lifetime..(for
details please  refer to WikipediA -free encyclopedia)
Shrooyante = is heard.    Rauravaadayah = raurava +
aadayah.     Raurava =  name of the worst hell among
the hells mentioned in Hindu scriptures.    Aadayah = etc.
Vishayitvam =  being  engrossed in sensual pleasures.
Daridraanaam = poor and deprived people.   Pratyaksham =
present before the eyes.     Narakam = Hell.       Viduh =
wise men.

i..e.       Many types of  inauspicious Hells named  'Raurava'
etc,, are mentioned in Vedas and Purnanas of Hindu religion.
But wise men have  said that if  some one  wants to see the Hell
before his own eyes he can do so by seeing the living conditions
of  very sensuous and poor persons .
